History
Founded in 1931, Porsche is a German manufacturer noted for its lineup of 2-door sports cars famed for their performance on and off the racetrack. Nearly a decade ago, Porsche introduced its first sports utility vehicle (the Cayenne), followed by its first 4-door sedan (the Panamera) in 2010. Porsche is part of the Volkswagen AG Group-also owners of Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, SEAT, Skoda, Scania, Rolls-Royce and Bugatti Automobiles. Porsche automobiles and SUVs are manufactured in Europe and sold worldwide.

• 911 Carrera-New "Turbo S" and "GT2 RS" models debut
• Boxster-A new lightweight "Spyder" model is introduced
• Cayenne-All-new model arrives for 2011; available in gasoline and hybrid configurations
