New for 2010-Mercedes-Benz
Critical Knowledge:2010 C-Class: All models receive a premium steering wheel, upgraded tire-pressure monitoring, and smaller exterior mirrors. There are also minor equipment and package changes, depending on the model.
2010 CL-Class: Larger side mirrors enhance visibility and all models receive standard premium leather upholstery and an upgraded audio system. A special commemorative limited-edition model is offered.
2010 CLS-Class: Mercedes-Benz offers two different V-8 engines in the CLS-Class-a standard 5.5-liter or a performance-oriented 6.3-liter tuned by AMG. There are only minor changes for 2010.
2010 E-Class: The completely redesigned sedan and all-new coupe (replacing the CLK-Class) debut with gasoline and diesel powerplants and a choice between rear- or all-wheel drive.
2010 G-Class: There are only minor cosmetic enhancements to the off-road champion of the Mercedes lineup.
2010 GL-Class: The 7-passenger SUV receives a minor facelift, new wheels and upgraded safety technology.
2010 GLK-Class: A mid-year update adds even more equipment, and the enhanced tire-pressure-monitoring system, to the compact SUV.
2010 M-Class: A hybrid variant joins the gasoline and diesel offerings in the lineup. All models receive minor equipment changes and new safety features.
2010 R-Class: New badging on the BlueTec model, smoked taillamps, added safety enhancements and new safety features debut for 2010.
2010 S-Class: In addition to a new hybrid model, the flagship sedan receives a minor facelift to accompany its added safety, audio and navigation technology.
2010 SL-Class: The SL64 AMG Black series is discontinued.
2010 SLK-Class: A limited-edition model debuts, while the rest of the lineup receives enhanced safety equipment and several new standard features.
