Introduction
The name Nissan issynonymous with the "Z," a popular line of 2-door,rear-wheel-drive sports cars manufactured since 1969 (at the time underNissan's "Datsun" brand). The early 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 280ZX and 300ZXwere followed by the technically advanced fourth-generation 300ZXmodels offered in the 1990s. After a five-year hiatus, thefifth-generation chassis was introducedin 2002 (2003 model year), followed by the firstconvertible "Roadster" in 2004. In 2007, Nissan made a major modelrevision to the 350Z. Changes included a modified hood, bumpers andheadlamps. Most importantly, an updated version of Nissan'saward-winning VQ-series engine was dropped under the hood. An all-newmodel with a larger 3.7-liter V-6 engine was introduced in late 2008for the 2009 model year. To reflect the new engine displacement, the350Z was renamed the 370Z.

For 2010, Nissan is introducing a completely redesigned convertiblemodel based on the new 370Z platform. The 370Z Roadster is smaller, lighter and decidedly sportier than the outgoing model and it shows inthe details. The familiar VQ-family engine has grown in size and power, for improved acceleration, and the interior has been completelyreworked with higher quality materials and better ergonomics. Thefully-lined cloth top is completely automatic in operation, and theRoadster features a glass wind blocker to increase passenger comfortwhen the top is down.

Nissan's New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers the 370Z Roadster duringthe first 3 years/36,000 miles. A powertrain warranty extends to 5years/60,000 miles. There is no deductible on either warranty, andtowing may be reimbursed if the vehicle is less than 36 months old.
