2014 Audi A8 TDI Fuel Economy Ratings and Pricing Announced
According to Audi, the new 2014 Audi A8 L TDI is rated to get 24 mpg in the city, 36 mpg on the highway, and 28 mpg in combined driving. The 3.0-liter, turbo-diesel V-6 engine generates 240 horsepower and 406 lb.-ft. of torque, and can accelerate the car to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds, by Audi's count. Quattro all-wheel drive is standard equipment.
Audi confirms that the 2014 Audi A8 L TDI will be offered with an optional Premium package containing 22-way multi-contour front comfort seats with ventilation and massage, full LED headlights, Audi Side Assist blind-spot monitoring, and Audi Pre-sense Rear. Additional details will be available closer to the model's arrival in Audi showrooms.
