Dodge Recalls Ram and Dakota for Axle Problem
The problem is that the rear axle pinion nut could loosen, causing the rear axle to lock up without warning, resulting in a loss of driver control and the vehicle to crash. Dodge dealers will install a pinion nut retainer, starting in November of 2012.
