Lotus Evora Recalled to Resolve Potential Fire Risk
The problem stems from a section of flexible hose that is part of the car's three-piece oil feed pipe. If this section ruptures, the engine will lose oil supply, and could be damaged. Additionally, hot oil could be sprayed upon hot engine components and catch fire.
Lotus will replace the oil feed pipe free of charge. Timing for the repair is not established as this recall report is written, but Lotus will notify affected owners directly.
