Volkswagen WorldAuto Used Car Program Certifies All Brands

Volkswagen has launched its new WorldAuto used-car program, which allows its global dealers to certify pre-owned Volkswagens and non-Volkswagen used cars.

"We developed the WorldAuto program to enhance used-vehicle values and support the Volkswagen Dealer Network in providing excellent customer service," said Scott Weitzman, general manager of Volkswagen's used car programs. "Through WorldAuto, customers can choose from a wide variety of high-quality used vehicles on the Volkswagen dealership's WorldAuto lot."

The WorldAuto program provides a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program for used Volkswagen vehicles, and a Quality Pre-Owned (QPO) program for used vehicles of non-Volkswagen brands. For both programs, eligible models may be up to 6 years old and have up to 75,000 miles on the odometer.

The WorldAuto CPO program includes the following benefits:

  • 24-month/24,000-mile limited warranty
  • 2 years of 24-hour roadside assistance
  • 112-point dealer inspection report
  • Carfax vehicle history report
  • Complimentary 3-month trial of satellite radio

The WorldAuto QPO program is administered by a third party and includes the following benefits:

  • 12-month/12,000-mile limited warranty
  • 1 year of 24-hour roadside assistance
  • 112-point dealer inspection report
  • Carfax vehicle history report
  • Complimentary 3-month trial of satellite radio

Volkswagen says that all WorldAuto vehicles are "inspected and reconditioned to like-new standards by Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)-certified technicians."
