Next-Generation Chevy MyLink to Debut on 2014 Impala

"MyLink in the new Impala provides our customers with a total driver experience," said Nina Mital, next-generation MyLink program manager. "With the natural voice recognition, it's like having a conversation with your vehicle."
In addition to the new natural voice-recognition technology, the next-generation version of MyLink will offer users the ability to swipe, click and drag icons just like they might on a personal tablet, such as an iPad. Additionally, up to 60 "favorites" can be stored, whether they are radio stations, destinations, contacts, music, or other forms of connected media. The new system also allows the driver to customize the appearance of the configurable gauge cluster and center stack elements to one of four selections: Contemporary, Edge, Main Street, or Velocity.
Chevrolet plans to offer next-generation MyLink technology in the new 2014 Impala, the redesigned 2014 Chevy Corvette, and the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, Suburban and Tahoe.
