BMW Announces New Special Edition Models
2013 BMW 650i Frozen Silver Edition
With just 55 units planned for production, the 2013 BMW 6 Series Frozen Silver Edition will be available for the 650i Coupe, with a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive (xDrive), and a starting price of $99,295. This car is painted Frozen Silver with black mirror caps, and rolls on M Performance 20-inch wheels in a Ferric Gray/gloss color treatment. An M Aerodynamics body kit, Shadowline trim, sport exhaust system with dark chrome exhaust tips, and black-painted brake calipers complete the 6 Series Frozen Silver's exterior appearance modifications.
The M Sport package and the Executive package are combined for this model, which offers black premium leather with contrast stitching, gray poplar wood trim, leather-wrapped dashboard, and an Alcantara headliner in Anthracite. The Frozen Silver Edition is also equipped with ventilated front seats, power rear window sunshade, ceramic interior controls, soft-close doors, head-up display, and full smartphone integration with BMW Apps technology.
2013 BMW Individual X6 Performance Edition
BMW plans to build 100 units of the new 2013 BMW Individual X6 Performance Edition, 50 each based on the xDrive35i and the xDrive50i. The price of the xDrive35i model is $81,695, while the xDrive50i version will carry a window sticker reading $92,895.
Each BMW Individual X6 Performance Edition is equipped with an M Performance package engine upgrade that adds horsepower and torque. Pearl Silver metallic paint, 20-inch aluminum wheels, black exhaust tips, running boards, soft-close doors, and LED headlights are standard.
Inside, the BMW Individual X6 Performance Edition features black leather seats with Alcantara inserts and Sakhir Orange stitching. The exposed stitching extends to the leather-wrapped dashboard and center console, which feature BMW Individual Carbon Leather.
This 5-passenger crossover SUV comes standard with the Premium package, Technology package, Cold Weather package and, on the xDrive50i, the Premium Sound package.
BMW says the BMW Individual X6 Performance Edition goes on sale in December, with the 6 Series Frozen Silver Edition landing in showrooms in January.
