Hot Wheels Chevy Camaro Debuts at SEMA
Chevrolet will build a limited number of the Camaro Hot Wheels Edition models, each carrying a price premium of $6,995 over the base MSRP of the Camaro 2LT or Camaro 2SS models. Buyers can choose between coupe and convertible body styles.
The Camaro Hot Wheels Edition is identified by its Kinetic Blue metallic paint, black 21-inch red-line wheels with machined edges and a redline perimeter, matte black hood stripe and taillight panel graphics, Camaro ZL1 front upper grille, Camaro ZL1 spoiler (coupes only), gray ground effects kit with a front splitter, and Hot Wheels badges on the grille, fenders and the trunk.
Inside, the Camaro Hot Wheels Edition is equipped with black leather seats with red and black stitching and an embroidered Hot Wheels logo, red-bordered black floor mats, Hot Wheels doorsill plates, and Hot Wheels graphics.
According to Chevrolet, the run of Camaro Hot Wheels Edition models will roll down the assembly line during the first quarter of 2013 and "like the collectable toys on which it is based, when they're gone, they're gone."
