New 2013 Dodge Dart Excels in IIHS Crash Tests
The Dodge Dart is based on an Alfa Romeo platform, and replaces the Caliber hatchback in the company's lineup. The EPA officially rates the Dart as a midsize car, but it is priced and positioned against other compact sedans. Several trim levels and powertrain choices are available, and prices range from $16,790 for the Dart SE with no options to $28,275 for a Dart Limited with all of the option boxes checked.
Early next year, Dodge will introduce a more fuel-efficient model called the Dart Aero, as well as a sporty version called the Dart R/T.
