Finalists for 2012 "Green Car of the Year" Award Announced
Ron Cogan, editor and publisher of Green Car Journal and president of the Green Car Institute, notes that after two decades the shift toward green vehicles provides greater choices for buyers. "The sheer number of environmentally positive production vehicles available to consumers is just eye-opening," Cogan said. "What's tougher these days is narrowing down the universe of great candidates to a field of five nominees."
The five finalists comprise Green Car Journal's "Top 5 Green Cars for 2013." The publication emphasizes that each finalist is an "affordable mass-market product that provides drivers full functionality and mainstream appeal, paving the way for making a difference in fuel use and overall emissions in daily driving."
