Toyota Prius c Pricing & Reviews

After the Great Recession and spiking gas prices, Toyota decided to transform the Prius nameplate into a sub-branded family of hybrid vehicles. The Prius C was the smallest and most affordable of the trio, delivering an EPA-estimated 50 mpg for around $20,000. After it went on sale in 2012, gas prices dropped and economic fortunes improved. Americans went back to buying trucks and SUVs. And this efficient, affordable, and dependable little 5-door hatchback collected dust on dealership lots. Used as a simple and cheap commuter car, the Prius C makes sense.
