BMW

BMW’s 3 Series—the core model in the German sport luxury automaker’s “Ultimate Driving Machine” lineup for 40 years and top-volume model in the U.S. market—is refreshed for 2016. BMW also introduces a redone flagship 7 Series sedan that features the company’s latest technology, including Gesture Control for operating infotainment functions in the cockpit. Also for 2016, enhanced Bluetooth with text messaging, extra mic, synching phonebooks, and USB connectivity is standard on more models. In addition, BMW introduces its X1 small premium SUV and updates the 6 Series coupe and convertible models. BMW’s first plug-in-hybrid SUV—the X4 xDrive40e—is added to the lineup. And for sport driving enthusiasts, some M variants receive a new Competition package option with handling upgrades and extra power.
