Models and Features
Standard and EcoBoost versions of the 2015 MKT are available, the latter equipped with a twin-turbocharged engine and standard all-wheel drive (AWD).

Few options are offered for the standard MKT, aside from inflatable rear seat belts and a few dealer-installed accessories. The MKT EcoBoost can be optioned with an Elite package containing a navigation system, 14-speaker premium audio system, heated steering wheel, blind-spot warning system, rear cross-traffic detection system, and a power-folding third-row seat.

In addition to the Elite package, the MKT EcoBoost can be upgraded with 20-in. polished aluminum wheels, a power panoramic sunroof, and trailer towing equipment. Interior upgrades include heated and ventilated second-row seats, rear refrigerated console, and a dual-screen entertainment system. The MKT EcoBoost is also available with a Technology package, the contents of which are detailed below.

Under the Hood
A 303-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 engine is standard for the 2015 Lincoln MKT, driving the vehicle's front wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

The MKT EcoBoost contains a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 good for 365 horsepower. It also has a paddle-shifted 6-speed automatic, and is paired with an AWD system.

Fuel Economy
According to the EPA, the 2015 Lincoln MKT gets 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. Choose the MKT EcoBoost and those ratings dip slightly to 16 mpg city/23 mpg highway.

Safety and Technology
Available only for the MKT EcoBoost, the Technology package adds an adaptive cruise control system, forward-collision warning with brake support, lane-departure warning system, and a lane-keeping aid system. Additionally, this package provides an Active Park Assist system that autonomously steers the MKT into a parallel parking space while the driver operates the transmission and foot pedals.
