The MKT EcoBoost trim adds 20-inch wheels, AWD, and the aforementioned turbocharged engine. Front-wheel drive is standard, with AWD optional; with FWD, the base MKT delivers 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway, according to the EPA. The EcoBoost trim comes with a 355-horsepower, 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged V-6 engine and AWD. It delivers 16 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.
