2009 Land Rover LR3

In the midsize category, Land Rover's LR3 comes in two trim levels for 2009: HSE and HSE LUX. Changes for the new model year include standard 19-inch alloy wheels, body-colored wheel arches, revised front and rear bumpers, a new rear appliqu_, and an updated tailgate lift handle. The exterior door handles also have been revised with a Tungsten finish, and the side repeater lenses are now clear. Inside, more minor upgrades include straight-grained walnut wood or black lacquer wood as standard equipment. Almond leather with Nutmeg carpet replaces Alpaca, and the third-row seat and rear climate control become stand-alone options.

Minor changes are made to the top-end Land Rover Range Rover for 2009. First there will be an Autobiography package for the Supercharged edition. It will have more leather upholstery than any previous model, including on the console side surfaces, door casings, and entire instrument panel. Full semi-aniline leather seats are included, as are wood trim accents throughout the interior. A 4-zone automatic climate control system and a rear-seat entertainment system are included as well.

Other new features for 2009 include upgraded leather trim for the steering wheel and instrument panel top surface, new door seals to reduce cabin noise, and a dampened lower tailgate to ease opening and closing. There will also be new exterior colors available.

2009 Land Rover Range Rover Sport

The Land Rover Range Rover Sport carries into 2009 with only a handful of minor changes. The most notable is refreshed rear styling, which now features rear lamps with a crystal lens finish and gray bezel accents. The rear appliqu_ is now body colored, and the rear tread strip changes from black to a Tungsten finish. Other differences include clear lenses for the side repeater lamps, new 20-inch wheel designs available on the S/C, and a Noble finish replaces the Brunel finish on vent surroundings, upper and lower console sides, and door pulls on the Sport's interior.
