Exterior Features
The 2012 Infiniti QX is a full-size luxury SUV. Exterior amenities offered on the QX include 20-inch alloy wheels, bi-Xenon headlights, heated power-folding mirrors, sunroof, running boards, and a power liftgate.

Interior Features
The 2012 Infiniti QX offers seating for up to 8 passengers. Standard interior features include keyless entry, 3-zone climate control, leather upholstery, heated 10-way-adjustable driver's seat with memory, second-row captain's chairs, 360-degree rearview camera, and heated steering wheel.

Optional Features
The 2012 Infiniti QX arranges options in a succession of packages that build on the preceding package. The Theater package adds to the list of standard equipment a rear-seat entertainment system, while the highest-level Technology package includes adaptive headlights and adaptive cruise control. The Deluxe Touring package adds 22-inch wheels, headlight washers, air purification, ventilated front seats, and a Bose sound system.

Under the Hood
The 2012 Infiniti QX is fitted with a 5.6-liter V-8 engine rated at 400 horsepower and mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control.

Fuel Economy
EPA fuel-economy figures for the 2012 Infiniti QX are 14/20/16 mpg (city/highway/combined).

Standard safety features on the Infiniti QX include stability and traction control, side curtain air bags for all three rows, and a tire-pressure monitoring system. The top-of-the-line Technology package includes such enhanced safety features as adaptive headlights, adaptive cruise control, collision alert, brake assist, and a blind-spot monitoring system.

To date, neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) have tested the 2012 Infiniti QX for crash protection.
