2013 Ford Cars Model Overview

Alternative powertrains, improved fuel economy, and better performance are the common themes across Ford's 2013 car lineup. After a soft launch in 2012, the Focus Electric is more widely available for the 2013 model year. Additionally, the new Ford C-MAX multi-purpose vehicle is available only as a hybrid or plug-in hybrid. The 2013 Taurus is refreshed, and offered with a new, more fuel-efficient turbocharged 4-cylinder engine option. On the performance front, the turbocharged Focus ST debuts and Ford infuses the Mustang's V-8 engines with extra horsepower and torque. The biggest news, however, is the completely redesigned Ford Fusion. Offered with five different powertrains--including hybrid and plug-in hybrid--and available with a long list of standard and optional features, the new 2013 Fusion should keep Ford competitive in the midsize family sedan class.
