2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
2010 Ford Edge: Fuel economy is improved across the board, and a new navigation system option features 6 free months of Sirius TravelLink service.

2010 Ford Flex: Ford flexes the Flex's muscles with the addition of a twin-turbo V-6 engine. New technologies include MyKey parental programming, Active Park Assist, and an updated Sync communications and entertainment system.

2010 Ford Focus: Continued improvement makes Focus competitive in the small car class. Stability control and ABS are now standard, along with numerous other features. MyKey speed and stereo volume programming is sure to be appreciated by parents, and the Sync communications and entertainment system is upgraded this year.

2010 Ford Fusion: Ford's family sedan gets a major overhaul for 2010. Highlights include a new Hybrid model that goes up to 47 mph on electric power alone and gets 41 mpg on the highway, an optional blind-spot information system with Cross Traffic Alert, and an updated Sync system with 911 Assist. Styling is also revised-inside and out-and Ford has made numerous other improvements.

2010 Ford Mustang: Restyled inside and out, and now equipped with sequentially-firing turn signals, the 2010 Mustang is equipped with standard stability control. GT versions have more power, an improved suspension and newly optional performance options. A navigation system and upgraded Sync technology with 911 Assist are also new for 2010.

2010 Ford Taurus: Completely redesigned for 2010, the Taurus is a full-size family sedan with a huge trunk and an options list that can turn it into a luxury sedan. A twin-turbo version of the standard V-6 engine is offered in the Super High Output (SHO) model, and the Taurus is available with all-wheel drive.

2010 Ford Edge

Few changes accompany the 2010 Ford Edge into the new decade. Ford says fuel economy is improved for all models, ranging between 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway depending on whether it has all-wheel drive. There's also a new navigation system with 6 months of free Sirius TravelLink service, and a special Limited Interior Appearance package.

2010 Ford Flex

Ford bumps power output by adding a twin-turbocharged V-6 engine it calls EcoBoost. New MyKey technology allows parents to program the Flex's top speed and maximum audio volume, among other items, and several new technology features help make the Flex owner's life a little easier.

  • A SelectShift transmission is included with the EcoBoost engine, allowing the driver to manually shift between gears using the shifter or paddles mounted to the steering wheel
  • Parents can use the new MyKey technology to program a limited top speed of 80 mph, to set a seat belt reminder to chime persistently until all passengers are buckled up, to ensure that the traction control is never turned off, and to limit stereo volume to 44 percent of maximum output
  • Optional Active Park Assist uses sensors in the front and rear bumpers to identify a parallel parking space that's big enough for the Flex, and then after the driver agrees to accept help parking, automatically steers the Flex into the space while the driver operates the brake, accelerator and transmission
  • Pull Drift Compensation technology works with the Flex's electronic power steering to help overcome slight steering changes due to stiff crosswinds or road crowns
  • New Sync with Traffic, Directions and Information feature provides hands-free access to personalized traffic reports, turn-by-turn driving directions, news reports, sports scores, weather forecasts and local business directories

2010 Ford Focus

Ford visits continued improvement upon its entry-level compact car for 2010. Added standard equipment, including ABS and stability control, are welcome changes, and parents can program features like top speed and stereo volume using the new, standard MyKey technology. Focus SES models are sportier than ever this year, and the optional Sync communication and entertainment system gets an upgrade.

2010 Ford Fusion

Significant improvements are made to the 2010 Ford Fusion. New powertrains, including a hybrid that can go 47 mph on battery power alone, are available, and the Fusion is offered with several technology options unusual for the midsize sedan class. Ford's family car is also restyled, inside and out.

2010 Ford Mustang

Not content to sit on the sidelines while Chevy's new Camaro gets all the attention, Ford performs a significant mid-cycle update to the legendary Mustang for 2010. Styling is revised-inside and out-and the Mustang GT gets the more powerful engine and competent suspension from last year's Bullitt model. Stability control is also now standard on every Mustang. New technology features, such as a navigation system, are also offered for 2010.

2010 Ford Taurus

Completely redesigned for 2010, the Ford Taurus is a full-size family sedan with a huge trunk and an options list that can turn it into a luxury sedan. Key features include MyKey parental programming of speed and stereo volume, a blind-spot information system with Cross Traffic Alert, adaptive cruise control with Collision Warning, and a Sony audio system with a 10-gigabyte hard drive that holds 2,400 songs. A performance-oriented SHO model is available, complete with twin-turbo V-6, and all-wheel drive is available.
