Introduction
The 2015 Dodge Journey is a midsize crossover SUV that offers a choice of engines and optional expanded seating. Still in its first generation, the Dodge Journey was rolled out for the 2009 model year, and underwent a considerable redesign for 2011. Primary competitors include the Honca CR-V, Ford Escape, Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Nissan Rogue. The 2015 Dodge Journey carries over from the previous year with few changes following an extensive redesign for the 2014 model year.

Models and Features
The 2015 Dodge Journey is offered in seven trim levels. The base model features a 4.3-in. touch screen, second-row in-floor storage, keyless entry and ignition with start/stop button, and steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls. The SE trim level adds distinctive \"ring of fire\" LED taillights and black side roof rails. The SXT trim level includes 17-in. tech silver aluminum wheels, front and rear fascias with integrated fog lights, power heated body-color exterior mirrors, and a cargo compartment cover with cover net. The SXT Plus trim level adds a 6-way power driver's seat with 4-way power lumbar adjustment, fold-flat passenger seat with in-seat storage, dual-zone automatic climate control with humidity sensor, 8.4-in. touch screen with remote USB port and audio jack, one year of SiriusXM satellite radio, voice command with Bluetooth, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with microphone.

The Crossroad trim level features exclusive 19-in. black aluminum wheels and all-season touring tires, and leather-trimmed seats. The exterior of the Journey Crossroad boasts front and rear performance fascias, roof rails, and lower sills with platinum chrome accents. Also included is a black leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob, among other items.

The R/T trim level provides a monochromatic exterior look, with premium 19-in. satin carbon aluminum wheels. The suspension is sport-tuned. The interior includes heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, as well as a premium sound system with subwoofer. The top-of-the-line Limited trim level features 19-in. tech silver aluminum wheels with available 19-in. chrome-clad aluminum wheels, plus bright chrome door handles and roof side rails. The premium soft-touch leather-trimmed interior features heated seats and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Various option groups are available on different trim levels. On the lower trim levels, these packages include a power driver's seat with lumbar adjustment, premium low-back bucket seats, security systems, automatic headlights, remote start, heated seats and steering wheel, and more. A navigation system includes a backup camera. The Blacktop package adds various black exterior accents and upgraded tires. A rear-seat video system, third-row seating, and a trailer tow prep group are other options.

With all seats down, cargo capacity for the Dodge Journey comes to 67.6 cu. ft.

All-wheel drive (AWD) is optional with the V-6 engine that's available on the SE, SXT, SXT Plus, and Crossroad trim levels.
