The 2012 Challenger is available in SXT, R/T, and SRT8 392 trims, each of which features a different engine. Eighteen-inch wheels are standard, with 20-inch wheels available or standard on the SRT8 392.

The R/T adds automatic headlights, fog lights, satellite radio, and Bluetooth connectivity. The SRT8 392 features sport seats, hydraulic power steering, higher-performance brakes and suspension, and other upgrades.

Optional Features
Many option packages are available at each trim level. The SXT Plus package adds leather upholstery to the base model, as well as heated front seats, automatic headlights, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Super Sport package includes larger wheels, several higher-performance features, and a rear spoiler. The Electronics Convenience, Interior Appearance, and Sound Group II packages round out the list. On the SRT8 392, a navigation system and an 18-speaker Harman Kardon sound system are optional.

Under the Hood
The Dodge Challenger SXT is fitted with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine rated at 305 horsepower that works with a 5-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
