Introduction
Originally introduced in 1989 as a slightly more luxurious alternative to its stablemate, the Dodge Grand Caravan, the Chrysler Town & Country is a minivan that seats up to 7 people. The Grand Caravan will be discontinued after this year, leaving the Town & Country as Fiat Chrysler Automobile's sole minivan offering. The Chrysler Town & Country competes with the Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna, Nissan Quest, and the Kia Sedona, among others.

Models and Features
Chrysler has made few changes to the 2015 Town & Country, following its 30th anniversary edition (actually the 30th anniversary of the Dodge Grand Caravan) for model year 2014. Standard upgrades on the Touring version include automatic headlights, fog lights, 8-way power front seats, upgraded 3-zone automatic climate control, and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system.

The S trim level is a sportier version of the Touring. It adds a sport suspension, distinctive leather and cloth seat trim with embroidered \"S\" badges, Piano Black interior trim, premium leather-wrapped steering wheel, front Super Console, and a dual-screen Blu-Ray DVD entertainment system for rear-seat occupants. Exterior features include polished 17-in. aluminum wheels with Gloss Black pockets, smoked headlamp treatment, and a dark chrome grille.

The somewhat posher Touring-L trim level features perforated leather seats, power front passenger's seat, Dark Maple simulated wood and Satin Silver interior trim, manual window sunshades for the second- and third-row seats, and remote ignition. Exterior upgrades include extra chrome trim, side mirrors with turn signal indicators, and 17-in. aluminum wheels. Standard on the Touring-L version is the SafetyTec Group, a safety package that includes blind-spot detection, cross-path detection, rear park-assist sensors, automatic high-beam headlight control, rain-sensing wipers, and individual tire-pressure monitors.

The not-quite-top-of-the-line Limited adds a navigation system and upgraded leather upholstery with faux suede accents. The new Town & Country Limited Platinum adds xenon headlights, power-folding exterior mirrors, sunroof, power-adjustable pedals, heated steering wheel, driver memory functions, heated front and second-row seats, power-folding and -reclining third-row seats, 9-speaker premium audio system, and a Blu-ray entertainment system.

Many of the features found on the upper trim levels of the 2015 Chrysler Town & Country are available as individual options or packages on the lower trim levels.
