2013 Chevrolet Trucks, Utilities and Vans Model Overview

The big news for the 2013 Chevrolet SUV, truck and van lineup is that the Colorado pickup gets a redesign expected to solidly position it as a midsize truck, and as a replacement for the slow-selling Avalanche, which will be discontinued for 2014. Details about the all-new Colorado will be available later this year. In the meantime, the Traverse full-size crossover gets a significant midlife refresh; the Equinox compact crossover gets a more powerful V-6 engine option as well as new safety features; the Silverado 2500HD can be equipped with a V-8 engine operating on compressed natural gas; and the Express full-size van receives new convenience and safety technologies. Chevy's full-size trucks and SUVs carry over with few changes.

2013 Chevrolet Avalanche

This is the final year for the Chevy Avalanche, a crew-cab, short-bed pickup based on the Chevy Suburban. The Avalanche is unique in that when an owner needs to expand cargo space, the rear seats fold down, the rear window and cab wall can be removed, and the Avalanche becomes a long-bed pickup.

  • LT trim includes a reversing camera
  • Black Diamond Edition with body-color trim
  • The Colorado will be completely redesigned for 2013

2013 Chevrolet Colorado
