2013 Chevrolet Cars Model Overview

Chevrolet is updating and refining its entire lineup for 2013, including the current Chevy Impala, which is in its final year as the automaker readies the redesigned 2014 Impala. Two new Chevy models debut for 2013: the Spark minicar and the redesigned Malibu midsize family sedan. Additionally, the Camaro, Corvette and Sonic lineups are enhanced with new performance-oriented variants, and the Volt's special powertrain is enhanced this year. Finally, Chevrolet MyLink technology and color touch-screen radios are introduced in most 2013 models, and new safety features are available on several 2013 Chevy models.

2013 Chevrolet Camaro

Chevrolet continues to refine the 4-passenger, rear-wheel-drive Camaro Coupe and Camaro Convertible for 2013, adding new performance-oriented models, touch-screen navigation technology, and fresh color and texture choices.

2013 Chevrolet Corvette

This is the final year for the C6 Corvette Coupe and Convertible, and Chevrolet is celebrating its sports car with a handful of modifications in advance of an all-new Corvette set to debut for the 2014 model year.

2013 Chevrolet Cruze

Chevrolet isn't sitting on the sidelines as its well-received compact sedan, the Cruze, faces stiffer competition. The 2013 Cruze receives a number of updates to help keep it competitive.

What's New

  • A 6-speed automatic transmission is newly optional for Cruze LS models, replacing the previous 4-speed automatic
  • Cruze LS meets Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle (AT-PZEV) requirements in California and the New England states
  • Cruze Eco, 2LT and LTZ equipped with standard color touch-screen radio, Bluetooth hands-free connectivity and music streaming, Pandora and Stitcher smartphone compatibility, and more
  • New 1LT Driver Convenience package with heated side mirrors, power driver's seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and remote engine starting
  • New 2LT Driver Convenience package with heated side mirrors, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a reversing camera
  • New Technology package adds a color touch-screen radio, reversing camera, and Chevrolet MyLink service
  • New Enhanced Safety package adds rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring system, and a rear cross-traffic alert system

2013 Chevrolet Impala

This is the final year for the current Chevrolet Impala, which has been in production with few changes since the 2006 model arrived in showrooms. Few changes are made to Chevy's full-size family sedan for 2013.

What's New

  • Luxury Edition package optional on LT and standard on LTZ
  • Luxury Edition package includes partial leather for the front seats, power front passenger's seat, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, Bose premium sound system, one year of satellite radio service, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a universal programmable remote control
  • New Crystal Red Tintcoat paint available at extra cost

2013 Chevrolet Malibu

The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu midsize sedan is completely redesigned for 2013, and sold in LS, LT and LTZ trims with a choice of a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine or a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. The Malibu Eco is equipped with GM's eAssist mild hybrid powertrain technology. Chevrolet will sell the Malibu in nearly 100 different countries.

  • Standard 197-horsepower, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine

2013 Chevrolet Sonic

The Chevrolet Sonic is a compact car sold in 5-door hatchback and 4-door sedan body styles. It debuted for 2012, and is offered in LS, LT and LTZ trim levels. This year, a new performance-oriented RS hatchback joins the lineup, and Chevy makes a number of other changes to the 2013 Sonic.

2013 Chevrolet Spark

New for 2013, the Chevrolet Spark is a minicar designed to compete with models such as the Fiat 500, Scion iQ and Smart Fortwo. The Spark seats 4 passengers, offers 31.2 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seat folded, and features 10 standard air bags.

2013 Chevrolet Volt

The Chevrolet Volt is an electric car that features a gasoline engine that serves as an onboard generator to extend vehicle range when the rechargeable battery pack reaches a minimum level of charge. The Volt seats 4 passengers, and costs little more than the average domestic car after tax credits are factored into the purchase.

What's New

  • Electric range increased from 35 miles to 38 miles
  • New Low Emissions package qualifies Volt to operate in carpool lanes in California and New York when gasoline engine is serving as a generator
  • New Hold Drive Mode and Normal, Sport, and Mountain drive modes give driver more control over when battery charge is used and when gasoline generator is used
  • Roof and tailgate are body-color instead of black
  • New Pebble Beige interior color
  • New navigation radio
  • Premium Trim package adds rear-seat center armrest with storage
  • Comfort package adds heated cloth front seats
