Exterior Features
The 2013 Chevrolet Impala is a full-size sedan with seating for up to 6 passengers. It is sold in LS, LT and LTZ trim levels. The Impala LS rides on 16-inch aluminum wheels; the LT has 17-inch aluminum wheels; and the LTZ is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels with performance tires.

Interior Features
Every 2013 Impala is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, a stereo with a CD player and an auxiliary audio input jack, air conditioning, 6-way power driver's seat, power windows, power door locks with remote keyless entry, power side mirrors, cruise control, and a leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel.

Optional Features
Upgrading to the Impala LT adds dual-zone automatic climate control, outside temperature display, compass, and remote engine starting. The LT trim also features flip-and-fold rear seats with a hidden storage area under the seat cushions and a trunk pass-through. A power sunroof is available on this trim.

A new Luxury Edition package is also available for the Impala LT. It adds leather front seats, heated front seats, power front-passenger seat, Bose premium sound system, 1 year of free satellite radio, universal remote, auto-dimming interior mirror, and heated outside mirrors.

The Luxury Edition package is standard on the Impala LTZ, along with an 8-way power driver's seat, theft-deterrent alarm, chrome door handles, and fog lights. A power sunroof is optional.

Under the Hood
A 300-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 engine is standard on the 2013 Chevy Impala, driving the front wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission. The LTZ trim is equipped with upgraded suspension tuning.

Fuel Economy
According to Chevrolet, the Impala will achieve 18 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.

The 2013 Chevy Impala features 6 air bags, traction and stability control, 4-wheel-disc anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, and 6 months of free OnStar service including Automatic Crash Response. Impala owners can sign up to receive FamilyLink vehicle location alerts via OnStar's RemoteLink mobile application.

In crash tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the 2013 Impala received a 4- (out of 5) star overall rating. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has not rated the 2013 Impala, but the structurally identical 2012 model received a \"Good\" rating for frontal-offset and side-impact protection, and \"Acceptable\" ratings for roof crush strength and rear-impact injury prevention.
