What's New for 2013:
- 3.0T and 3.0 TDI models debut
- Audi S8 performance model joins the lineup
All 2013 Audi A8 models employ Audi Space Frame aluminum construction to keep weight down. The A8 L models add 5 inches of wheelbase and stretched bodywork to create a larger rear cabin. The S8 models get special design and trim details.
The A8's cabin is dressed in leather, wood and aluminum. Dual-zone climate control, a premium Bose surround-sound audio system, navigation, a power sunroof, and Audi Connect with Bluetooth connectivity, music streaming and mobile Wi-Fi capability are included on all A8s for 2013. The S8 adds standard heated and ventilated massaging front sport seats.
Highlights from the Audi A8 options menu include heated and ventilated massaging front seats, 4-zone automatic climate control, rear entertainment system, Bang & Olufsen advanced audio system, solar-panel sunroof, and LED headlights. A Sport package adds special trim, dynamic steering, sport suspension, torque-vectoring rear differential, and 20-inch wheels to the A8 model. The A8 L is available with a panoramic glass roof as well as reclining, ventilated and massaging individual rear bucket seats separated by a refrigerator.
