Recall Roundup: Air Bag Issues Continue to Spark Broad Recalls

By Joseph Dobrian, February 16, 2016
The wave of air bag-related recalls continues. During the past week, an undetermined number of vehicles—likely well over 2,000,000—were recalled by their manufacturers due to issues with the driver’s-side air bag. Vehicles from the 2006 through 2014 model years are affected; automakers issuing recalls include BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen. Other automakers, including Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, General Motors, and Subaru, issued recalls related to other equipment. Details for each vehicle recall are below, in alphabetical order by car brand.
