Lincoln Miles Facilitates Mileage Monitoring, Promises Credits
Lincoln Automotive Financial Services has introduced Lincoln Miles, a pilot program for its lease clients that the company says will help them to manage their lease mileage more easily, and earn them up to $1,000 toward their next Lincoln vehicle.
Starting at the end of this month, qualified lessees nationwide will be invited to join the pilot, which will allow them to monitor both their daily miles and their predicted lease-end mileage through mobile and online updates. Participants will receive $100 to $1,000 in credits (to be applied to a future Lincoln lease or purchase) for unused miles on their lease contract.
Lincoln Automotive Financial Services expects the program to benefit them, too, since it will provide them with a better understanding of their clients’ mileage requirements, and is testing technologies and approaches leasing clients truly value. The company hopes that programs such as this one will give their clients increased flexibility, and make it easier to allow for possible lifestyle changes—such as relocation, a new job, or illness—that might affect their lease mileage.
Current lessees who have 10 months to 25 months left on their lease agreements, are up to date on their lease payments, and are driving a Lincoln MKC, MKX, or MKZ with an embedded modem, will be invited to participate in the program. The pilot supports Ford Smart Mobility, Ford’s program intended to enhance connectivity, mobility, autonomous vehicles, the customer experience, and data and analytics.
