Performance-Tuned 2013 Honda Accord HFP Debuts at SEMA

By Jeff Youngs, October 31, 2012
Honda selected the 2012 Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) trade show as the venue to debut its 2013 Accord Honda Factory Performance (HFP) Coupe, which goes on sale in the spring of 2013.

The Accord HFP package adds a lowered sport suspension, 19-inch aluminum wheels, ground effects kit, rear spoiler, special floor mats, and unique red interior lighting. Honda plans to build just 500 units of the limited-edition model, at a $4,650 premium over the Accord EX-L V-6 Coupe. Installation costs extra.

In addition to the 2013 Accord HFP Coupe, Honda displayed a 2013 Accord Sedan at SEMA equipped with the X package, which is currently available through the Honda Genuine Accessories catalog. The X package, which retails for $2,171 (not including installation), adds a ground-effects kit, rear wing spoiler, and a sport grille to the 4-door version of the Accord.
