Nissan to Debut Black Pearl Edition 2017 Nissan Juke at LA Auto Show

By Philly Murtha, November 10, 2016
Before being introduced at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, Nissan unveiled a more elegant rather than quirky Black Pearl Edition of the 2017 Nissan Juke small SUV in a limited production run with 1,000 copies to be sold in the U.S. market.

Reviving Nissan’s “Black Pearl” name used on the 1978 280Z, Nissan said the treatment features Super Black paint exterior with contrasting Pearl White accents and Black Pearl Edition 17-in. gloss black aluminum wheels. The interior treatment also reflects the black and white theme with heated black cloth front seats that feature white inserts and stitching. The Juke’s signature center console is painted white and the steering wheel also features white stitching. The shift knob also features white accents.

More detailed modifications to the Black Pearl Edition include white bumper accents and white outside trim around distinctive Juke headlights. White door handles and white caps on the outside rearview mirrors also are part of the package in addition to a white rear spoiler and special Black Pearl Edition badging.

The new limited-edition Black Pearl Juke package has a suggested retail price of $1,190. It will be available with the Juke SV trim level that can be configured with front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). The Black Pearl edition Juke will be the third special variant created by Nissan’s Juke Color Studio in addition to the “Yellow Stinger” and “Black Stinger.”
