New Chrysler and Jeep Special-Edition Models On Sale Soon
For the second year in a row, Chrysler showrooms will receive a Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition model, named after the Detroit-born fashion designer. For 2014, however, this model is offered with all-wheel drive (AWD) in addition to the standard rear-drive setup. Exterior highlights include Phantom Black paint, Titanium and Black Chrome exterior trim, darkened LED taillights, and 20-inch aluminum wheels for rear-drive models. Select AWD, and this model rolls on 19-inch wheels.
Inside, the 2014 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition is equipped with Pewter Metallic leather upholstery with Diesel Gray stitching, a unique gauge cluster modeled after the designer's watches, and a hand-stitched, leather-wrapped, heated steering wheel. Titanium and Gloss Black interior accents with special Charcoal wood-tone trim set this model apart, and the John Varvatos Limited Edition's cabin gets an extended leather treatment. Jeep dealers will receive new 2014 Cherokee Altitude, 2014 Grand Cherokee Altitude, and 2014 Wrangler Altitude special-edition models starting in the spring of 2014. These new versions of popular Jeep models join the existing Compass Altitude and Patriot Altitude models that are already on sale.
The 2014 Jeep Cherokee Altitude is based on the Latitude trim level, and adds 18-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels, Gloss Black exterior trim, and a black interior. Offered in four colors, with front-wheel or 4-wheel drive, and a choice between a 4-cylinder or a V-6 engine, the Cherokee Altitude starts at $25,990*.
Based on the Laredo trim level, the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude pairs a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive and a set of 20-inch aluminum wheels. Gloss Black and Platinum Chrome exterior detailing, darkened headlights and taillights, and an SRT-style roof rack add a unique appearance on the outside, while the interior is equipped with black leather seats with perforated suede inserts. Additional equipment includes heated front seats, heated steering wheel, 8.4-inch Uconnect touch-screen infotainment system, power sunroof, power tailgate, remote engine starting, and more. Offered in a choice of six colors, the Grand Cherokee Altitude is priced from $36,285*.
Starting with the Wrangler Sahara and a choice between a 2-door and a 4-door Unlimited body style, the 2014 Jeep Wrangler Altitude gets a mix of Matte Black and Gloss Black exterior trim, body-color Freedom Top, and 18-inch aluminum wheels. Interiors feature black leather and interior trim, and a Connectivity Group containing Bluetooth, a USB port, individual tire-pressure monitoring, and an electronic vehicle information center. Four exterior colors are offered, and the Wrangler Altitude's base price is $32,590*.
