Infiniti QX60, QX80 Limited SUVs Bow at New York Auto Show

Infiniti, Nissan Motor’s premium car brand, will unveil two lavish Limited variants of the 2019 Infiniti QX60 and 2019 Infiniti QX80 premium SUVs at the 2018 New York International Auto Show. ”Statement vehicles that empower the driving experience” is how Infiniti describes the two models with distinctive exterior and interior treatments that will reach U.S. dealer showrooms this spring and summer.

The 2019 Infiniti QX60 Limited compact premium sporty SUV rides on 20-in. alloy wheels. Power comes from a standard 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 295 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. Outside, the new QX60 Limited is set apart with a dark chrome front grille, fog lamp finishers, and door moldings. Dark roof rails, lower bumper trim, and “Limited” badging add to the custom look.

Inside, the QX60 Limited features “stone-color” leather seating with contrast stitching plus leather grab handles, black headliner, quilted door panels, plus luxury mats. Nissan’s advanced safety-assistance systems are not included but are available, including a new Rear Door Alert system to remind of items that may have been forgotten in the rear seat.

For a roomier, more powerful choice, Infiniti’s flagship 2019 QX80 Limited large premium SUV also features exclusive content and is powered by a standard 5.6-liter V-8 engine that makes 400 horsepower and 413 lb.-ft. of torque matched with a 7-speed automatic transmission. On the outside, the 3-row QX80 Limited, which can be configured to seat 7 with captain’s chairs, is available in five paint colors including new Anthracite Gray. Equipped with satin silver 22-in. wheels, the QX80 Limited features stainless steel running boards, satin chrome outside trim, roof rails, unique bumper treatments, and “Limited” badging.

The SUV’s rich interior is done with two-tone semi-aniline leather/Alcantara seats with quilting and contrast stitching. A leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knob, and matte silver ash wood trim plus black Ultrasuede headliner add luxury touches along with some of the same extra elements as in the QX60 Limited, plus special badging. Another plus, the QX80 Limited comes with standard advanced safety and collision-warning and -avoidance systems. A Theater system is optional.
