2013 SRT Viper GTS Arrives at Pebble Beach in Launch Edition Livery

Chrysler plans to build a limited number of 2013 SRT Vipers as Launch Edition models equipped with serialized dash plaques, including build sequence numbers aligned with the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

Chrysler did not announce how many SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition cars would be built. Each one will be sourced from the first run of production models to emerge from the Viper's Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, and each will be painted in what Chrysler calls "historically significant" GTS Blue with dual Bright White full-length racing stripes.

"Designed with Viper loyalists in mind, the 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition model brings back the classic paint schemes that have adorned all previous Viper coupe launches to help us celebrate the return of our brand's flagship performance machine to the supercar market," said Ralph Gilles, President and CEO--Street and Racing Technology Brand and Motorsports and Senior Vice President--Product Design, Chrysler Group LLC.

In addition to the special paint, the SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition is equipped with polished 5-spoke forged aluminum wheels, unique Viper badge with a blue background, extended leather treatment employing contrast-stitched Laguna leather, and Satin Silver interior detailing.
