  • 2016 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study trophy graphic

    Each year, the J.D. Power Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) StudySM assesses customer satisfaction with regard to the design, performance, content, and layout of new vehicles during the first 90 days of ownership. Using this information, J.D. Power calculates Power Circle Ratings to summarize the results and to help consumers when they’re choosing a new vehicle.

    This buyer’s guide highlights the top-rated 2016 coupes and convertibles from the 2016 U.S. APEAL Study. Each model included in the guide receives a Power Circle Rating of 5 out of a possible 5 for overall appeal.

    Turbocharged and equipped with a standard all-wheel-drive system, the Audi TT is a sports car offered as a coupe or a convertible. Four people can squeeze into the coupe, but the rear occupants had better be small. Convertibles seat no more than 2 people.
