New for 2018: Mini

After several years of new model rollouts, Mini takes a break in 2018. The lineup includes the Cooper Hardtop, Convertible, Clubman wagon, and the Countryman SUV. Across the board, each receives additional standard equipment and minor changes, while Apple CarPlay appears in the Clubman and Countryman.

Detailed changes for each 2018 Mini car and SUV model are shown below, listed in alphabetical order.

2018 Mini Cooper Clubman

  • Reversing camera, rear park-assist sensors, and drowsy-driver monitoring are standard for 2018
  • Technology package now includes front park-assist sensors, parallel parking assist, and Apple CarPlay (beginning with July production)
  • Relocated driving mode and head-up display controls, revised turn signal stalk operation, and redesigned fuel gauge
  • Revised paint pricing

2018 Mini Cooper Convertible

  • Standard reversing camera and rear park-assist sensors
  • Front park-assist sensors and parallel parking assist added to Technology option package
  • Driving mode and head-up display controls are relocated, turn signal stalk operation is revised, fuel gauge is redesigned
  • Compact spare tire eliminated from base Cooper trim
  • Updated paint pricing

2018 Mini Cooper Countryman

  • Standard drowsy-driver monitoring, rear park-assist sensors, and reversing camera
  • Technology package gains parallel parking assist and front park-assist sensors
  • Apple CarPlay added to Technology package (beginning with July production)
  • Head-up display and driving mode controls are relocated
  • New fuel gauge design debuts

2018 Mini Cooper Hardtop

  • Standard equipment includes a reversing camera and rear park-assist sensors
  • Parallel parking assist and front park-assist sensors added to Technology package
  • Relocated head-up display and driving mode controls, and a restyled fuel gauge arrives
  • Turn signal stalk stays in place when used rather than returning to center
  • Paint pricing structure is revised
