New for 2018: Cadillac

Cadillac continues to roll out its next-generation version of its CUE infotainment system, introduces a new hands-free driving technology called Super Cruise for the top trim in the CT6 lineup, and gives the aging yet popular XTS a freshening designed to give the car a few more years of life. Otherwise, changes to the 2018 Cadillac lineup are minor.

Detailed changes for each Cadillac car and SUV are shown on the pages that follow, the vehicles listed in alphabetical order.

2018 Cadillac ATS

  • Standard equipment now includes automatic heated front seats and steering wheel
  • Next-generation Cadillac User Experience infotainment system debuts for all except the base ATS models
  • Available Apple Watch integration with MyCadillac mobile app
  • New paint color: Satin Steel

2018 Cadillac CT6

  • Super Cruise hands-free driving technology debuts for CT6 Platinum, and is paired with a Driver Attention System
  • Super Cruise is intended for use only on freeways, and drivers much pay attention or the system does not work 
  • Plug-in Hybrid version arrived halfway through the 2017 model year, supplies 31 miles of electric range and 26 mpg in combined driving when used as a gas-electric hybrid
  • New paint colors: Satin Steel, Stone Gray, Red Horizon, Midnight Sky

2018 Cadillac CTS

  • MyCadillac mobile app offers new Apple Watch integration
  • Standard automatic heated steering wheel
  • Two USB ports added for rear seat occupants
  • CTS-V Glacier Edition debuts, limited to 115-unit production run
  • New paint color: Satin Steel, Genesis (CTS-V only), Vector Blue (CTS-V only)

2018 Cadillac XT5

  • Additional USB ports are added to keep everyone happily connected
  • New paint color: Harbor Blue

2018 Cadillac XTS

  • Cadillac gives the XTS a new lease on life with a freshening for 2018
  • Updated styling to bring XTS in line with other Cadillac sedans
  • New bumpers, grille, front fenders, LED headlights, LED taillights, trunk lid, wheels
  • Revised interior colors and trims, new front seat designs, quieter cabin, more rear seat legroom
  • Strengthened vehicle structure for improved crash protection, ride, and handling
  • Re-tuned suspension, standard 19-inch wheels, revised tire selections, standard Brembo front performance brakes
  • Next-generation Cadillac User Experience infotainment system debuts with standard Bose audio system, additional USB ports
  • New paint colors: Stone Gray, Red Horizon

2018 Cadillac Escalade

  • New 10-speed automatic transmission for improved fuel economy, quicker shifts
  • Platinum trim now offered with Shale and Maple Sugar interior treatment with Jet Black accents
  • New paint color: Satin Steel
