    Jeep 2017 Model Overview

    Perhaps conserving energy for complete redesigns of the 2018 Compass and 2018 Wrangler, Jeep makes few modifications to its existing lineup for 2017. The most significant updates are bestowed upon the Grand Cherokee, now available in off-road-ready Trailhawk trim.

    • Standard HID headlights for all trim levels except base Sport
    • Rugged Trailhawk variant gains a significant amount of standard equipment
    • Upscale Overland trim level offered with new options
    • Altitude special edition repositioned at lower price point between Sport and Latitude trim levels

    • Jeep makes no changes to the 2017 Compass
    • A completely redesigned 2018 Compass arrives early in calendar year 2017

    • All 2017 Grand Cherokees get a standard reversing camera and rear park-assist sensors
    • Updated front styling for all trim levels
    • New Trailhawk variant debuts
    • Trailhawk designed to provide extra off-roading capability
    • Luxurious Summit trim level gains standard equipment, plusher leather-wrapped interior in four color schemes including new Indigo and Ski Gray
    • New colors include Rhino, Diamond Black, and Walnut Brown

    • Jeep makes no changes to the 2017 Patriot, which is expected to be discontinued after the 2017 model year

    • Latitude trim level adds 7-in. driver information display when Uconnect 6.5 navigation upgrade is purchased
    • Limited trim level adds keyless passive entry as standard equipment

    • Available LED headlights and LED fog lights
    • Cold Weather Group includes engine block heater, heated front seats, remote engine starting, all-weather slush mats, and special tires
