New for 2016: Honda

By Philly Murtha, January 05, 2016

Honda has redesigned its volume-selling Civic compact car and Pilot midsize SUV from the ground up for 2016. Other models in its lineup to be refreshed for 2016 include the best-selling Accord midsize sedan, which was last revamped for 2013, and the CR-Z compact car. Other changes for 2016 include the addition of Special Edition (SE) trim levels. Many models are available with Honda Sensing advanced technology suite that includes blind-spot detection, and lane-departure and forward-collision warning features. Also, Honda introduces for 2016 its HR-V small SUV that sits on the Fit platform. In other news, Honda discontinues the Crosstour, a crossover Accord variant, after five years on the market. After a three-year hiatus Honda plans to bring back its Ridgeline midsize pickup in the fall of 2016 as a 2017 model. It will ride on the new Pilot platform.
