By Thom Blackett, September 28, 2015

The big news coming out of the GMC camp for 2016 is the debut of updated Sierra and Sierra HD pickups, both of which now feature a freshened front end, new digital steering system for the HD, and the addition of Apple CarPlay technology to the company’s IntelliLink infotainment system. As for the rest of the 2016 GMC lineup, styling and equipment tweaks highlight the Terrain crossover, revised safety packages accompany the Yukon and Yukon XL, an optional navigation system debuts in the Savana, and a highly anticipated turbocharged diesel engine finally arrives for the 2016 GMC Canyon midsize pickup.
