2010 Subaru LegacyCritical Knowledge:

2010 Forester: The 5-passenger Forester only receives minor updates for 2010. These include a new instrument cluster and Bluetooth phone connectivity on Limited models.

2010 Impreza: A minor grille refresh adds new character to the Impreza, while the interior benefits from upgraded option packages and a new Bluetooth-enabled navigation system.

2010 Legacy: The family-oriented Legacy is all-new for 2010. Larger body dimensions mean more passenger room on each of three trim levels with 4- or 6-cylinder power.

2010 Outback: Another all-new-for-2010 model, the Outback crossover utility vehicle (CUV) offers 4- or 6-cylinder engines within its completely redesigned platform, promising even more comfort and utility than before.

2010 Tribeca: The only standard 7-passenger model in the Subaru lineup receives minor changes for 2010. There are new standard heated front seats, auxiliary air conditioning for second- and third-row passengers, and a standard back-up camera. Additionally, Limited models receive standard Bluetooth phone connectivity.

2010 Subaru Forester
The Subaru Forester-a compact SUV with seating for up to 5 passengers-was all-new for the 2009 model year, meaning for 2010 it sees only minor charges. The Forester shares much of its mechanicals with the Subaru Impreza, and like all Subaru models, the Forester is fitted with a standard full-time all-wheel-drive system.

2010 Subaru Impreza
The Subaru Impreza is a compact 4-door sedan or 5-door hatchback famed worldwide for its successful rally racing history. The Impreza is sold as an economical family sedan, a turbocharged hot hatchback, and as variations of both in between. The three models-Impreza, WRX and WRX STI-receive minor changes for 2010.

  • New grille design for Impreza 2.5i, Impreza 2.5GT and Impreza Outback Sport models

  • New Black Alcantara upholstery with red stitching replaces gray upholstery on WRX STI

2010 Subaru Legacy
Completely redesigned for 2010, the all-new Legacy midsize family sedan is now in its fifth generation. The 2010 Legacy is the first equipped with a CVT transmission, the first without frameless side windows, and the first with an electric parking brake. It is available with Subaru's familiar 4- and 6-cylinder, horizontally opposed "Boxer" engine configurations.

2010 Subaru Outback
All-new for 2010, and sharing platforms with the Subaru Legacy (the name "Legacy," previously in the model's nomenclature, has been removed for 2010), the Subaru Outback is a midsize crossover SUV now in its fourth generation. The Outback is offered with a choice between 4- and 6-cylinder powerplants, and in three trim levels, each with a standard all-wheel-drive powertrain.

2010 Subaru Tribeca
Subaru made 7-passenger seating standard in its midsize Tribeca crossover SUV for 2010. All models continue to share the same 256-horsepower, 3.6-liter flat-6 engine, 5-speed automatic transmission, and full-time all-wheel drive. Other than the seating addition, the Tribeca receives only minor changes for 2010. These include standard heated front seats and a second climate control system for the rear of the vehicle. Touring and Limited models also receive minor equipment adjustments.
