Infiniti models:
2009 Infiniti EX-Series
While the Infiniti EX crossover debuted last year as a 2008 model, Infiniti has still chosen to upgrade it for the 2009 model year. Most of the changes are centered around option packages, and their contents. The base model gains a rearview monitor, leather upholstery, rear climate vents and roof-mounted cargo rails as standard equipment. The EX35 Journey gets a 6-disc CD changer, power-adjustable steering column, and dual-zone temperature controls. New packaged options include Distance Control Assist (DCA), Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) and the Around View Monitor (AVM). The 18-inch wheels are now available in a stand-alone package.

2009 Infiniti FX-Series
All-new for 2009, Infiniti has completely redesigned its 5-passenger FX SUV. The new FX slots comfortably between the smaller, 5-passenger Infiniti EX35 and the larger, 7-passenger Infiniti QX56. In an SUV segment crowded with boxy truck-like offerings, both FX models are sleek, sporty, and designed to handle much like sports cars. The all-new FX35 features a 3.5-liter V-6 engine rated at 306 hp, while the more powerful FX50 is equipped with a 5.0-liter V-8 engine rated at 390 hp. Both are mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission driving either the rear or all four wheels. In typical Infiniti fashion, both FX models are available with an extensive array of electronic driving aids including Around View Monitor (AVM) and Distance Control Assist (DCA). All feature a long list of standard luxury equipment.

2009 Infiniti G Coupe
The Infiniti G37 Sport Coupe receives a new 7-speed transmission, and the option of Nissan's ATESSA E-TS permanent all-wheel drive on the G37x Sport Coupe. New for 2009, the Infiniti G37 Convertible will make its introduction marking Infiniti's first convertible model in more than a decade. Based on the G37 Sport Coupe, the new drop-top features a 3-piece automatic retracting hardtop. All models in the 2009 G lineup will also feature Infiniti's innovative Scratch Shield "self-healing" clearcoat finish over their paint.

2009 Infiniti G Sedan
The popular Infiniti G35 sedan gets renamed the G37 for 2009 as the automaker fits the 3.7-liter V-6 engine from the coupe under its hood. Horsepower is bumped to 328 (22 more than the 2008 model). In addition, a new 7-speed automatic transmission replaces the outgoing 5-speed automatic improving acceleration, efficiency and fuel economy, the automaker says. A 6-speed manual transmission is still available on the G37 6MT S model. All 2009 G37 models will receive Infiniti's "Scratch Shield" self-healing paint.

2009 Infiniti M-Series
The big news for the Infiniti M for 2009 is found under the hood. The 6-cylinder M35 receives an updated version of the 3.5-liter V-6 engine, bumping the horsepower rating to 303. The news gets better as the automaker has dropped a slick new 7-speed automatic transmission under the hood of the rear-wheel-drive sedan. The additional gearing improves EPA fuel economy numbers to 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. Although the all-wheel-drive M35x receives the new engine, it retains a 5-speed automatic transmission. The M45, powered by a V-8 engine, carries forth without significant mechanicals changes. All models receive automatic speed-sensing door locks and Infiniti's "Scratch Shield" self-healing paint.

2009 Infiniti QX-Series
Infiniti's largest model offering is the full-size QX56 SUV. It received an interior and exterior update for the 2008 model year. For 2009, Infiniti will offer one new exterior paint color and automatic speed-sensing door locks.
