The Hyundai Genesis is a luxury large sedan that aims to compete with Lexus and Mercedes. As such, it features a strong, competitive standard equipment list, but it's offered at a fraction of the price.

2016,There are two engines available: a 3.8L V6 and a 4.6L V8. The 3.8 produces 290 hp, while the 4.6 makes 376 hp. Both engines utilize continuously variable valve timing and four valves per cylinder. Both engines are mated to 6-speed automatic transmissions with Shiftronic manual shift mode for more control over the gear changes.

The 4.6 adds a few extras such as a power sunroof, 18-inch wheels, proximity entry and push-button start. The Technology Package is optional on the 4.6, and includes a 17-speaker system from Lexicon with DVD, XM NavTraffic, HID headlights, front and rear parking assist, rear backup camera and a cooled driver's seat.
