  • Lower Door Stripe Graphic package
  • Updated cloth seat fabric
  • Magnetic paint color

The 2015 Ford Fiesta is a subcompact car available as a 4-door sedan or a 5-door hatchback. It competes against the Chevrolet Spark and Chevrolet Sonic, Honda Fit, Hyundai Accent, Kia Rio, Mazda 2, Mitsubishi Mirage, Nissan Versa and Versa Note, Scion xD, and Toyota Yaris.

Models and Features
For each of the Fiesta's body styles, Ford offers the car in S, SE, and Titanium trim levels. Additionally, the 5-door hatchback is available as a performance-tuned ST model.

Few options are offered for the Fiesta S, making the Fiesta SE more appealing. The SE comes standard with aluminum wheels, power windows, remote keyless entry, cruise control, trip computer, upgraded interior trim, ambient cabin lighting, added storage areas, MyKey programmable features, and more.

Select the Fiesta Titanium for leather seats, heated front seats, automatic climate control, keyless passive entry with push-button starting, MyFord Touch infotainment system with satellite radio and HD Radio, premium audio system, auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated exterior mirrors, reversing camera, and rear park-assist sensors. Chrome exterior trim, fog lights, and 16-in. aluminum wheels identify the Titanium trim level from the outside.

The performance-tuned Fiesta ST features a more powerful engine, 6-speed manual transmission, sport suspension, upgraded brakes, 3-mode stability control system, special design details and trim inside and out, and a set of 17-in. aluminum wheels with performance-oriented tires. Additional highlights include MyFord Touch, premium audio system, keyless passive entry with push-button starting, automatic climate control, and a full-size spare tire.

Under the Hood
A 120-horsepower, 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine is standard equipment for all 2015 Fiestas except the ST, which gets a turbocharged, 1.6-liter, EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine that generates 197 horsepower. The Fiesta ST is equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox, which means that if you can't operate a clutch pedal you can't drive this version of the car. Other Fiestas have a standard 5-speed manual transmission but can be optioned with a 6-speed automated manual transmission that Ford calls PowerShift.

As an option for the Fiesta SE, buyers can select a more fuel-efficient, 1.0-liter, EcoBoost 3-cylinder engine supplying 123 horsepower. This power plant produces more torque, too, which is what the driver feels from behind the wheel. Like the Fiesta ST, though, a Fiesta SE with this engine option is available only with a manual transmission.

Fuel Economy
Depending on the transmission and equipment choice, the Fiesta's standard 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine is EPA-rated to return a minimum of 27 mpg in the city and a maximum of 38 mpg on the highway. Select the 1.0-liter, EcoBoost 3-cylinder engine to potentially achieve 31 mpg in the city and 43 mpg on the highway.

The more powerful Fiesta ST is expected to get 26 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.

Safety and Technology
Ford equips every 2015 Fiesta with its Sync Bluetooth connectivity technology, enhanced by AppLink, which allows the driver to access Internet radio, hear incoming tweets, and more. Fiesta buyers can upgrade to a MyFord Touch infotainment system, which is optional for the SE trim level and standard in the Titanium and ST versions.

Aside from the base Fiesta S model, all versions include MyKey technology, which allows for programming of specific vehicle attributes related to speed, stereo volume, seat belt usage, and more in order to help ensure safety. A reversing camera and rear park-assist sensors are standard for the Fiesta Titanium.

Additional tech-related features that are exclusive to the Titanium and ST trim levels include automatic climate control, keyless passive entry with push-button starting, and a Sony premium audio system with HD Radio. Any version of the 2015 Fiesta equipped with MyFord Touch can be optioned with a navigation system.
