Casey Hurbis, head of FIAT Brand North America at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), oversees the advertising and communications efforts for one of the most exciting brands in recent automotive marketing memory. Under his lead, Casey and the FIAT team launched the re-introduction of FIAT in the North American market, and built a car brand that is now known for some of the most fun, memorable, award-winning work. If you can easily recall a FIAT ad from the past five years, it’s because of Casey and the FIAT team.

Never one to shy away from a challenge, Casey has taken the FIAT brand into territories other car brands only dream of, establishing those little Italian imports as big American icons. From Super Bowl sensations like “Seduction” with supermodel Catrinel Menghia to award-winning creative about a frisky old man taking a little blue pill, to more recent work that took “bird’s eye view” to a whole new level, there are few boundaries Casey is unwilling to push.

Since joining FCA in 2011, Casey Hurbis’ achievements have helped earn FIAT several Cannes Lions for creativity across multiple platforms, as well as recognition as 2012 “Marketer of the Year” by AdAge. Casey has also earned a bit of a reputation over at FCA for running one of the most fun intern programs, and at times-also having engineer students reexamine their career choices.

Prior to his current role, Casey spent 17 years ascending the account management ladder with the last 7 years serving as Senior Vice President of Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Dealer Advertising at BBDO Detroit.

And if you know Casey, you know his heart is as big as his drive. Casey is dedicated to several charities including Special Olympics and Bethany Christian Adoption Services. He and his wife, Cynthia have been blessed with two wonderful children, Peyton and Cash, live in the beautiful countryside outside Detroit, but happily commute every football season to visit Casey’s other favorite place, Michigan State University.
