The 9-3 remains relatively unchanged since its makeover in 2003. The change did away with Saab's traditional hatchback, and produced a more rigid body far better-suited to compete with the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series. Driven by their front wheels and equipped with a line of powerful turbocharged engines, the Saab 9-3 series delivers the promise of a great European driving car in a far from common place form.
