•The Infiniti G37 Sedan is available with an intelligent cruise control system that includes a feature called Preview Braking. When the laser of the intelligent cruise control senses that the G37 is rapidly closing on slowed or stopped traffic, the Preview Braking system automatically pre-pressurizes the braking system so that maximum braking power is available as soon as the driver steps on the brake pedal. On models without intelligent cruise control, Preview Braking works when the driver suddenly lifts off the throttle.
•When the Infiniti G37 Sedan is equipped with the performance braking system, the four-piston front calipers clamp down on 14-inch drilled front rotors.
•Infiniti says its engineers took over 1,000 measurements to determine how sound would behave inside the G37 Sedan, with the goal of creating an audio system that would sound like a live performance. Then they bought a $30,000 home audio system and tried to duplicate its sound quality.
•The result is the G37’s optional Infiniti Studio on Wheels sound system includes a double oversampling 24-bit Burr Brown digital audio converter and a first for Bose: a 3-way front door speaker array with 10-inch subwoofers.

•Nissan’s VQ-series of engines, upon which the 3.7-liter V-6 under the hood of the Infiniti G37 is based, has been named one of the “10 Best Engines” by Ward’s Auto World magazine for 14 consecutive years.
•The 2009 Infiniti G37 makes 22 more horsepower and 1 lb.-ft. more torque than the 2008 Infiniti G35.
