Why We Drove It: The Nissan Versa ranked among the top three vehicles in its class in the 2007 J.D. Power and Associates APEAL Study, which measures consumer satisfaction with performance and design. The Versa is also among the top ranked vehicles in its class for fuel economy, according to the EPA.
In surveys that J.D. Power and Associates has conducted with verified owners of the 2008 Nissan Versa, the people that actually own and drive one told us:

"I am a tall male and the driver's seat is very comfortable and my legs do not hit the steering wheel."

"Visibility is really great, like the AMC Pacer but without fish bowl styling. Fit and finish are very good for an economy car."

"Great visibility due to large windows and the car's elevation off the ground."

"The seats in the front and rear are comfortable and the leg room is great for a small car."

"The transmission shifts smoother than any other vehicle I've driven."

"[The Nissan Versa is a] zippy little car. It's roomy, fun to drive, and it looks good!"

"Road noise is [minimal], which is outstanding."

"The overall design and functionality is excellent."

"The front seats [are a] great height. They are really easy to get in and out of."

"Passenger comfort for the price is best in class."

"[The Nissan Versa has a] quiet engine [and] good sound insulation."

i have a 2007 versa and i like the room and the seats as well, i do find there is a blind spot where the back window and side door meet, you really have to shoulder check. the mileage is good but not what nissan said it would be.i haven't had a problem with the fuel door cable breaking yet but have heard it has happened quite a bit on some cars. i also don't like the fact the AC comes on automatically, i know it's for defogging, but i would rather just turn it on myself, i find i forget and i'm driving around with it on when not needed.overall i'm fairly happy with the car, only have 20000 K's though.
