My sweetest ride ever

I own a G37 Coupe which I have been driving for over a year. Yesterday the car stopped moving while I was on the highway. The dealer said the motor needed replacing and that it would not be covered by warranty since I did not bring it in for it's maitenance. Not performing the maintenance on a one year old car cannot be the cause of an engine breaking. It has to be a material deffect and I should not be made to pay for this. Please help me get Infinity to take responsability for this deffect.
