Why We Drove It: The Chrysler Town & Country performs well in government crash tests and is among the most fuel-efficient minivans when equipped with thestandard 3.3-liter V-6 engine.
In surveys that J.D. Power and Associates has conducted with verified owners of the 2008 Chrysler Town & Country, the people that actually own and drive one told us:

“The buttons for entertainment, cruise control, etc. are very conveniently located. I can make adjustments without taking [my] hands off steering wheel.”

“The navigation and radio system is too complicated [and the] user’s manual is not written in a simple sense. As a result I cannot use them properly and fully.”

“The sound system is too complex. It needs to be simpler to operate. [It is] not intuitive or self explanatory.”

“I love the adjustable pedals; both my husband and myself drive and now I don’t have to stretch to drive.”

“The HVAC system fans are rather loud [making it so you] can’t talk to people in the rear seats with it on.”

“[The Town & Country has] cheap interior materials; the leather is cheap and scarce, and the overhead storage rattles.”

“The vehicle seems to downshift a lot going up small grades and even [during] in town driving.”

“The cruise control stalk is in the wrong place. [It is also] sensitive and somewhat confusing to use.”

“I don’t like the sound and feel of the automatic transmission shifting gears.”

“The heating [system takes a] long time to heat up and then it’s too hot, even on the lowest setting.”

“We travel a lot and enjoy the comfort and space [of the Chrysler Town & Country]”

this is our 5th mini van and by far the worse. We have had 5 Nav systems, tire sensors repalces and the abnormal noise is a front wheel bearing. Our van is less than 8 months old some how we locked our keys in the van. we called chrysler the said although its new we suggest you call AAA as we will not help you. Will repace it with another US auto but its not easy when our Limited is only worth $24000.00 now horible.
